Try Asheville Community Theater’s summer theater camp called Backstage Pass.
My kids LOVE it! We’ve signed them up for this year. It’s popular - you have to sign up early or get on a waiting list. The 7 year old gets to act, sing, and do improvisation. FUN! Lots of imagination stuff going on – the older is 13 and STILL wants to go!
This year they are going to act in 2 different theaters downtown and have a performance. Kids have a chance to perform and learn theater skills – no one is left out.
Teachers work with the theater during the year so if your kids come in to audition – they already know their skills!
